A career you'll be proud of

A life that feels like yours

If you've ever felt pulled between work that matters and a family life you don't want to miss, you're in exactly the right place.

CeCe & Me is a flexible, purposeful business built around the rhythm of family life, and the women who run our territories say it's made them feel like themselves again.

Built by a mum, for mums

Ten years ago, I was a frustrated parent trying to buy shoes for my daughters. I couldn't find anyone who helped me feel confident I was doing the right thing for their feet, the focus always seemed to be on making a sale, not on understanding my child.

So I retrained as a children's shoe fitter and built the service I'd wished existed. What I hadn't expected was how much it would give me back... the flexibility to be around for my girls, a deep sense of purpose, a community I felt rooted in and a confidence in myself I hadn't felt since becoming a mum.

Five years ago I franchised CeCe & Me, because I wanted more women to experience the same thing, and because I knew how many families across the UK still couldn't access expert, unhurried shoe fitting for their children.

CeCe & Me has been built carefully and intentionally, the kind of network where every franchisee is genuinely supported, not just signed up. We're growing and we're looking for the right women to grow with.

The whole picture shifts

Our franchisees don't just describe finding a better job. They describe a different life.

Fits around your family

School runs, sports days, sick days, a business that bends around your children, not the other way around.

Real purpose, every day

You're not just running a business. You're making a genuine difference to families in your community.

Confidence rebuilt

New skills, new relationships and a growing sense of what you're capable of.

You won't do it alone

A network of like-minded women, comprehensive training and ongoing support. Full backing  from day one.

"I love the fact that I've built my own business, my stamp is firmly on it, but I didn't have to do all the leg work I'd have had to do starting from scratch. I have the autonomy to make decisions for my own franchise, yet I have a community of people to share ideas and grow with."

Expert fitting, on your terms

As a CeCe & Me franchisee, you take the service to the places families already go: playgroups, soft play, family cafes or directly to their homes. Children are in a familiar environment, which means they're relaxed. And so are you.

Your role is part expert fitter, part foot health educator, part trusted community presence. You help parents feel confident, keep little feet healthy and become the person families in your area genuinely rely on.

Because we work primarily with children under school age, most appointments happen during school hours, keeping your business and your family life genuinely separate.

As your business grows, so does the opportunity. After your first year of trading, you can expand your range to include school shoes, broadening your customer base and your earning potential.

Everything you need, from the start

No previous experience in shoe fitting or business is needed. We'll equip you with everything you need to get up and running.

1.  CPD-accredited training

A comprehensive programme in children's foot health and shoe fitting, so you can offer genuinely expert advice and care from day one.

2.  A proven business model

A detailed operations handbook, systems and processes, plus over ten years of learning, so you're not figuring things out from scratch.

3.  Your digital presence, ready to go

Your own CeCe & Me webpage, online booking system, business email and social media infrastructure, set up and ready to use.

4.  Ongoing support and community

Access to a growing library of resources, regular support and guidance from head office and a collaborative network of franchisees who share ideas and experiences.

"The training has been second to none. The theory behind foot development, foot health and shoe making is beyond anything I had expected. I feel so well equipped to support my customers, which gives me the confidence to be the best CeCe & Me shoe fitter I could possibly be."

You don't need to have it all figured out

Most of our franchisees came to us at a crossroads, returning from maternity leave and not ready to go back to what they'd left, in work that no longer fit their life or simply looking for something that felt like theirs.

What they had in common wasn't a background in business or shoes. It was a genuine care for children and families, a desire to be part of their community and the belief that there had to be a better way to work.

You'll need a full, clean driving licence, your own car (there are a lot of shoes involved!), and a reasonable level of fitness, this is a hands-on, down at ground level, active role. Everything else, we'll help you build.

Honest answers to your questions

What does the investment look like?

The upfront franchise fee is £5,500. The information pack sets out the complete investment picture, including stock, ongoing costs and indicative revenue, clearly and honestly. Most prospective franchisees say it answers the questions they weren't sure how to ask.

How long before I'm making good money?

Each person's definition of success differs but most franchisees find it takes around a year to build real traction. The business grows as your local reputation does. The women who get there quickest are those who invest in making themselves visible in their community from day one. It's something we actively support you with.

Will this work in my area?

Across the UK, there are many communities where parents can't easily access expert children's shoe fitting. We'll work through the potential opportunity your area together, it's one of the first conversations we have with every prospective franchisee.

What if I'm not experienced enough?

No experience in shoes or business is needed. What matters is the right attitude, being curious, caring and community-minded. We'll teach you everything else.

What if I'm not confident enough?

Most of our franchisees felt this way before they started. Building confidence, in shoe fitting and running a business, is a big part of what the training and ongoing support is designed to do.
